Mountains and Parks
August 14-27, 2025
What better way to end summer than a tour of North America’s most popular national parks! We begin this tour heading north, spending our first night in Denver, CO.
The next day we make our way to Casper, WY and spend the afternoon in town, checking out what Casper has to offer.
Our third day on the road we drive toward Jackson, WY, with stops in Grand Teton National Park for photo ops and site-seeing. The next morning we will ride a gondola to the summit of Snow King Mountain, enjoying the best views of the Grand Tetons! Afterwards, we drive through the Tetons as well as the southern part of Yellowstone National Park to our hotel for two nights in West Yellowstone, WY. After breakfast the next morning a step-on guide will meet us for a full day tour of Yellowstone National Park, with a boxed lunch included.
The next day we travel Bear Tooth Highway, one of the most scenic and difficult drives in the U.S., on our way to Bozeman, MTfor the night. After saying goodbye to Bozeman we drive to Helena, MT to enjoy a boat tour of Gates of the Mountain (“Heart of Montana”) along the Missouri River, following the path of Lewis and Clark! After lunch we journey to Glacier Park Lodge in Glacier National Park for the night. The next morning vintage 1930’s buses will drive us up the Going-to-the-Sun Road to the Continental Divide and Logan Pass (from the east this time), where we take in the majesty of Glacier National Park! That afternoon we cross the border into Canada to enjoy a planned dinner and spend the night in Waterton Park, Alberta.
Our second day in Canada we will enjoy an interpretive sightseeing cruise in Waterton Lakes National Park, where the prairies of Alberta meet the peaks of the Rocky Mountains! The rest of the day we will explore more of Canada’s prettiest national park and enjoy another planned dinner that night.
We say goodbye to Canada the next day and cross the border back into Montana to overnight in Butte, MT, then Provo, UT the next night, on our way to Mesa Verde National Park, where we spend the night in the park along with another planned dinner. The next morning a step-on guide will give us a tour of the park before we head to Santa Ana Pueblo, NM for our last night of the tour.
As always there are surprise stops planned along our journey!
