A Day in the Permian Basin

Tuesday, March 28, 2023

Ready to see more of the Panhandle Plains of Texas? Then join us March 28 as we travel to Midland and Odessa for the day! Our first stop will be at the Permian Basin Petroleum Museum in Midland, which is the nation’s largest museum dedicated to the petroleum industry and its pioneers. Next, we will enjoy lunch at the aviation-themed restaurant, Michael’s Charcoal Grill, and then head to Susie’s South Forty Confections for a tour and tastings. You will definitely want to take home some of her fabulous award-winning candy and chocolate! Our last stop of the day will be at the Shakespearean Globe Theater on the campus of Odessa College for a tour and art show.

We will meet at the east side parking lot of Walmart on S. Loop 289 and Quaker (4215 S Loop 289) at 7:30am and depart at 7:45AM.

The cost is $50 per person and includes transportation, lunch, and all activities. Payment is taken at the bus (cash or check) the day of the trip.
