We are headed back to Kentucky this Spring! The Ark Encounter opened on July 7, 2016, a date (7/7) chosen to correspond with Genesis 7:7: "And Noah and his sons and his wife and his sons' wives entered the ark to escape the waters of the flood."
The Ark Encounter features a full-size replica of Noah’s Ark, built according to the dimensions given in the Bible. Spanning 510 feet long, 85 feet wide, and 51 feet high, this modern engineering marvel amazes visitors young and old.
Leaving Lubbock, we will overnight in Texarkana and Nashville, TN as we make our way to Lexington, KY, where we will stay two nights. Upon arrival in Lexington, we will enjoy a city tour and the Mary Todd Lincoln home. The next day we will spend the morning and lunch at the Ark Encounter, then drive to Frankfort (KY capitol) for some shopping and see the capitol sites. Heading back to Lubbock the next day, we will overnight in St. Louis, MO and Tulsa, OK.
The cost is $1098 per person/two to a room, $1576 per person/single, and $893 per person/triple. A $100 deposit (per person) reserves your space. A $500 deposit (per person) is due no later than April 3, with the remainder due no later than April 27. Cost includes transportation, lodging, breakfast each morning, and activities. The annual balloon fiesta in Albuquerque is always one of our most requested tours!
After checking into our hotel on Friday, we will then head downtown to eat dinner and shop in Old Town. This year we will enjoy Saturday morning's ascension at the Gondola Club, one of the most picturesque locations in the Balloon Fiesta Park! It is a private area away from the crowds and includes a huge breakfast buffet, indoor restrooms, courtesy shuttles, and local entertainment. You will still be able to get up close and personal with all the hot air balloons right on the launch pad. Again this year we will enjoy a tram ride to the top of the Sandia Mountain and lunch at Bucca Di Peppa after the morning ascension. Saturday night's evening glow and Sunday morning's ascension will be enjoyed at the Chaser's Club, an open air patio located next to the balloon launch field, and includes dinner Saturday night and breakfast Sunday morning.

Get into the Christmas spirit with us on our annual Branson tour! Leaving Sunday after lunch, we will travel to Clinton, OK to spend the night. The next day we continue our journey toward Branson. After checking into our hotel (Radisson Hotel) and eating dinner, the first show we will see is Presley's Country Jubilee Show, Branson's First Family of Entertainment. This four generation tradition performs family favorites that continue to enthrall millions.
Tuesday we will enjoy Neil Sedaka His Music, His Legacy tribute show. You will get to experience some of the most nostalgic and classic music of all time at this brand-new Branson show. After lunch at Paula Deen's Family Kitchen we will see the Sons of Britches, a hilarious show where the "SOBs present your 'requested songs' in a unique, spontaneous way. Our day will close with the fantastic "Noah" show at the Sight & Sound Theater. Returning for one season only, this landmark production takes you on board one of the world's best-known voyages, as live animals fill the stage and aisles!
After another deluxe breakfast Wednesday morning, we start the day with the hilarious Russian comedian, Yakov Smirnoff, who is actually retired but is back in Branson to entertain us for one week only. After seeing his show, you will want to stand and cheer for the Red, White, and Blue! Our after lunch treat will be "Andy Williams" Ozark Mountain Christmas Show starring the Lennon Sisters, performing some of everyone's favorite holiday shows. The Lennon Granddaughters plus Britain's Got Talent singing sensation Charlie Green will also be featured! Last but not least will be the Texas Tenors Show, #1 vocal group of America's Got Talent in 2010. After listening to their unique blend of country, gospel, and classical vocals along with cowboy charm will, you will see why their PBS special, "You Should Dream," won three Emmy Awards!
Our last show in Branson will be the always fun and entertaining Clay Cooper's Country Express Show. His show has something for everyone with 24 entertainers on stage, great visual effects, and a variety of music - old and new country, rock, current hits, gospel, and patriotic. We will depart Branson after his show and head to Tulsa for the night.

Our fall foliage tour this year takes us to the beautiful Finger Lakes and 1000 Islands regions of upstate New York and stunning Niagara Falls!
We start our journey in Lubbock and overnight in Marshall, TX, Birmingham, AL, Charlotte, NC and Hagerstown, MD before arriving at our first stop in the Finger Lakes region to lunch and tour the incredible Corning Museum of Glass in Corning, NY. Then we head to Watkins Glen State Park to enjoy their many waterfalls and overnight right on the shore of Seneca Lake, the largest finger lake. The next day we will enjoy more of the Finger Lakes and New York 'wine country' at Canandaigua City Pier, Red Jacket Orchards, and Seneca Falls before arriving in Syracuse, NY to spend the night. Our next day will be traveling to Alexandria Bay to enjoy a boat tour of Thousand Islands and Boldt Castle, which is at it's most gorgeous in the fall! We will spend the night in Kingston, ON right on the harbor of the St. Lawrence River. Following a little site seeing in Kingston the next morning, we will begin making our way toward Niagara Falls, ON with stops in Toronto and Mississauga. We will spend two nights in Niagara Falls! We have planned a Behind the Falls tour, Niagara on the Lake, and a ride on the Maid of the Mist to see the mighty falls up close and personal. Next, we head to Jamestown, NY, hometown of Lucille Ball. We will eat lunch in the Tropicana Room (replica of Ricky Ricardo's night club), tour the Lucy Desi Museum, and enjoy Lucy's Home Town Tour of the city. Our overnight that night is in Erie PA. The next day we begin our journey south toward Lubbock with overnights in Indianapolis, IN, Springfield, MO and Dallas, TX.

We are leaving the Texas heat behind this August and traveling to the Pacific Coast! Our tour begins in Lubbock, overnighting in Durango, CO, Salt Lake City, and Nampa, ID on our way to Cascade Locks, OR where we will enjoy a brunch boat tour on the Columbia River Gorge and Multnomah Falls. The afternoon will be spent with a step on guide tour of fun and crazy Portland, OR that includes the International Rose Test Garden. After spending the night in South Portland, we travel to Crater Lake National Park where a park ranger will meet our bus for a tour of the park and America's deepest lake! Leaving southern Oregon, we then make our way into California, following the coastline through Crescent City (located on a beautiful crescent-shaped bay) and stopping for photo ops in Humboldt Redwoods State Park then overnight in Fort Bragg, CA. The next morning we check out the glass beach in Ft. Bragg, then wind along the coast through Mendocino, Marshall and Point Reyes, stopping to see the lighthouse and get a sense of the magnitude of the San Andreas fault line. Continuing along the coastline we will drive into San Francisco and stay two nights right on the water of the San Francisco Bay! The next day will be spent exploring Alcatraz and San Francisco's eclectic neighborhoods and tourist hot spots. After leaving San Francisco, the next day we will travel to Pigeon Point Lighthouse (the tallest lighthouse on the U.S. Pacific Coast) and Big Sur, then stopping for a tour of the famous Hearst Castle in San Simeon. We will overnight in wine country, Paso Robles, CA, then begin our journey home the next morning with overnights in Kingman, AZ and Albuquerque, NM. As always, there will be surprise stops along our journey!
